It’s been a busy week, but I’m getting through it. There have been some good things and unfortunately one setback. The setback is I’m not able to get my driver’s license reinstated for another year. Apparently in Wisconsin if you get two OWI offenses within a year, your license is revoked for a year even if you complete a driver’s safety plan. The driver’s safety plan is still required to get the license reinstated, but only after a year of suspension. That was a big setback for me because I was hoping to get my license so I had other options for employment, and to be able to get around easier. Although this is a setback, I’m just going to have to deal with it as its out of my control..

On a positive note, I’m about to complete my second week of full time employment. The restaurant has been crazy busy so I don’t get home at night until late, but its a little extra money everyday so that’s not a bad thing. Also, in my town there is the yearly town get together called fun fest, which is making it very busy at the restaurant. I went there for lunch today and supported the local hockey association. It was fun to get out and I saw a few people I knew so that was nice. I have one more shift at work this afternoon, then two days off! I don’t have plans for my time off, but it will be good to have a little time off.

I have a friend planning to visit me at the end of the month so I’m going to have to find some activities to do so she does not get bored. I think we are going to hang out in Stillwater and get a hotel room. Stillwater is a nice town with a lot of activities to do so I’m sure we won’t be bored.
